 Back by popular demand...

On 6/16/2026 PARC is back on the Air at Blackrock Canyon, US-12622.

7 club members came out to see the POTA operation. 3 of the 7 were new attendees.  2 of the 7 were newer members to satisfy their curiosity.

Propagation on 20 meters was noticeably better than the previous outing- but still could have been better.   "The band is 'Up and Down' many contacted hams mentioned.

9 CW and 18 SSB contacts were made in almost 2 hours of operating.

The next PARC radio outing will be Field Day on 6/27.

On 4/28/2026  Mike WA7TT, Cody W7YJ, and Rich KR7W went to the Blackrock Canyon Rec Area picnic area to "Try it Out" for future PARC POTA activities.

27 SSB  and  12 CW  QSOs were made with KR7W's 'Shack in a Plywood Box", 20 meter Inverted Vee dipole using 80 Watts.

We liked the 'Oasis in the Desert'  picnic area and will be be scheduling upcoming PARC POTA outings here.
